Zencore - Senior Platform Engineer
Requirements
• Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices. • Experience working with traditional data center environments and technologies such as VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, networks / firewalls is preferred. • Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one language (specific languages not stated). • Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients. • Conversational proficiency in English. • Experience working with a major public cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud for 3 years or more is required. • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, application modernization through containerization/serverless platforms, CI/CD practices are needed (specific tools not stated). • Familiarity with the Hashicorp portfolio and Kubernetes knowledge would be beneficial but not explicitly mentioned in requirements.
Responsibilities
• Work with fast paced innovative companies leveraging Cloud as key driver of transformation. • Cover a large spectrum of technology topics like infrastructure as code, application modernization through containerization and serverless platforms, CI/CD, cloud networking, data analytics. • Provide strategic guidance to customer teams embedded within them for their transition on Google Cloud platform. • Execute projects in collaborative co-development style with customers' trusted advisors role. • Select the right tools and processes based on first principles reasoning from client requirements using Zencore’s core toolbox including Google Cloud, Hashicorp portfolio, Kubernetes etc. • Write scripts and automation for efficient operations in at least one language as required by job description.
