Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design effective frontend solutions • Take technical ownership of entire software projects, ensuring frontend architecture and applications are robust, accessible, and user-friendly • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of frontend code (Angular) to production • Build and maintain reusable components within our Design System and Component Library • Ensure all user-facing features meet WCAG accessibility standards • Produce clear, detailed documentation - including component usage guides, architectural decisions, and code comments • Investigate and resolve frontend issues based on customer and stakeholder feedback • Champion frontend best practices and accessibility standards by following clean, standardised coding conventions • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members • Actively contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making within the team • What are we looking for • 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development, primarily with Angular. • Proven experience working with Design Systems and Component Libraries. • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and assistive technology support. • Strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, HTML semantics, CSS, and TypeScript. • Ability to design and implement frontend solutions based on requirements and design specifications. • Experience with testing and verifying code. • Excellent in both written and verbal communication, particularly for technical documentation. • If this role has stood out to you but you don’t feel like you ‘tick all the boxes,’ we strongly encourage you to apply nonetheless.
