Requirements
• Proven experience in mainframe operations and z/OS automation • z/OS automation • Hands-on migration experience from Non-IBM / ISV automation tools—especially CA OPS/MVS and CA Automation Point—to IBM Systems Automation solutions. • CA OPS/MVS • CA Automation Point • Advanced knowledge of IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS. • IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS • Working knowledge of NetView for z/OS and System Automation Policy Database (PDB). • NetView for z/OS • System Automation Policy Database (PDB) • Strong TSO/ISPF, JCL, and REXX programming skills. • TSO/ISPF • Demonstrated experience in installation, configuration, documentation, and automation-related troubleshooting. • Knowledge of SMP/E for software installation and maintenance. • SMP/E • Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
Responsibilities
• Lead migration projects from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS and from CA Automation Point to IBM SAIOM. • CA OPS/MVS • IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS • CA Automation Point • IBM SAIOM • Configure and implement IBM Systems Automation solutions, including policy-based automation for z/OS • Develop and maintain automation rules, REXX execs, and System Automation Policy Database (PDB) • System Automation Policy Database (PDB) • Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for IBM automation products. • Collaborate with operations teams to improve startup, shutdown, recovery, and high-availability automation processes.
