• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 10 or more years of post-qualification experience, including a meaningful stint as an entity or financial controller. • Hands-on experience in lending or consumer credit accounting, including IFRS 9 ECL modelling and loan book accounting. • Experience working inside an FCA-regulated firm such as an EMI, payment institution, bank or lender. • Strong FRS 102 and IFRS technical knowledge with a track record of clean statutory audits and the ability to assess and document the accounting treatment of new products. • Comfort with high transaction volumes, multiple currencies and payment processor data; experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP. • Proven ability to lead and develop a small accounting team, with a hands-on, low-ego approach - happy to review and to roll up your sleeves. • Big 4 or similar audit background. • Fintech, cross-border payments or remittance experience, ideally with working knowledge of safeguarding under the Electronic Money and Payment Services Regulations. • Experience in a multi-entity group with a US parent and US GAAP consolidation requirements.
