Requirements
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in institutional high-touch sales and relationship management with a trading firm, bank, or broker dealer in global markets. • Previous experience in derivatives with a focus on FX markets is a plus. • Track record of excellence in managing institutional relationships. • Strong interest in crypto and an understanding of crypto market structure. • Proven team-player with ability to work effectively across time zones in fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • High sense of urgency, self-motivation and entrepreneurship. • Data-driven approach to decision making and priority setting. • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Well-organized with a proven ability to prioritize and multitask. • Initiative and experience independently driving projects to completion. • Fluent in English, but ability to speak, read and write in other languages is a plus • The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day coverage of our global counterparties during the US time zone – facilitating execution of spot and options trades, providing timely market color and coordinating the resolution of trade queries and problems. • Develop a pipeline of prospective counterparties in the Americas, with a focus on banks, funds family offices and other institutional investors. • Create original spot and options market color for internal and external distribution. • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences. • Plan and lead in-person meetings with counterparties - travel as necessary. • Cross-sell new and existing products both within Cumberland and in other areas of the firm, with the aim of enhancing our counterparty’s overall trading experience.
