Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks to ensure robust software solutions for clients in various industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards established by Onebrief's engineering team.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in software applications or systems under pressure, working closely with clients and internal teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends relevant to full-stack development by attending workshops, webinars, conferences, and self-study sessions.
  • Participate in code reviews as a peer reviewer or lead reviewers for team members' contributions while providing constructive feedback aimed at improving the quality of software products.
  • Contribute to open source projects related to full-stack development when time permits after fulfilling primary job responsibilities, fostering professional growth and networking opportunities within the developer community.
  • Mentor junior engineers or new hires in Onebrief's engineering team by sharing knowledge, providing guidance on best practices, and helping them navigate their career paths effectively.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements thoroughly before beginning development work; translate technical jargon into business terms when necessary for clarity of understanding between the client and our engineers.
  • Document code changes meticulously using version control systems like Git while ensuring that all modifications are well-commented, enabling easy tracking back if needed in future projects or audits by management personnel at Onebrief headquarters located within New York City limits (NYC).
  • Test software applications rigorously before deployment to ensure they meet quality standards and perform as expected under various scenarios; report bugs found during testing promptly for timely resolutions.
  • Attend company retreats organized annually by management at Onebrief headquarters located within NYC where employees bond over team building activities while discussing workplace improvements that benefit everyone involved directly or indirectly through their contributions towards creating a positive working environment conducive to productivity growth across all departments including engineering teams like yours.
  • Manage home office expenses up to $1,000 per year for necessary equipment and supplies needed by staff members who work remotely from Onebrief headquarters located within NYC; submit receipts periodically as proof of purchase along with detailed descriptions explaining how each item directly contributes towards improving productivity levels while maintaining high standards set forth throughout all aspects related specifically pertaining solely exclusively strictly limited only explicitly expressly stated hereinaboveforthwithhithertohereafter.
