Requirements
• US Citizen required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 10+ years experience in DevOps, security, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) • In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) • Advanced experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) • Strong consulting and delivery skills, including executive communication, technical workshops, and engineering team mentorship • Additional AWS certification depth (for example AWS Professional and Specialty certifications, including Security and Networking) • Enterprise DevSecOps experience, including secure CI/CD design, vulnerability remediation workflows, and security guardrails • Proven success designing and operating multi-account AWS landing zones and cloud governance at scale • Multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud exposure (AWS-first with practical Azure and/or GCP experience)
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain DevOps architectural best practices • Develop and maintain architectural standards and it's components across diverse infrastructures • Configure and improve Kubernetes add-ons to extend platform capabilities and securely integrate with external systems. • Experience with Kubernetes platform engineering in a production environment (EKS, cluster operations, add-on integration, and policy-based governance). • Design and implement secure, automated, and scalable CI/CD pipelines. • Enforce RBAC, network policies and other guardrails for cluster security in a multi-tenant environment • Lead the integration of security practices into the DevOps process, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and security testing • Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security controls throughout the development lifecycle • Evaluate, select, and implement DevSecOps tools and technologies that align with organizational goals • Improve existing toolchains for improved efficiency and security • Implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates for cloud and on-premises environments. • Establish monitoring and alerting systems for both security and performance metrics. • Increase infrastructure and applications for improved efficiency and reliability. • Work with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. • Provide training and mentorship to team members on DevOps best practices.
