Requirements
• Several years of experience as an Engineering Manager in a SaaS or scale up environment • A strong engineering background and comfort engaging deeply with technical topics • A proven track record of leading high performing teams through growth and change • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple countries • Experience with modern backend systems such as Rust or Node.js and data heavy platforms is a plus • Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial systems is a bonus; curiosity and learning mindset are essential
Responsibilities
• Lead and support two engineering teams through coaching, regular feedback, and clear growth paths • Create the conditions for teams to deliver consistently and with confidence • Partner closely with Product to shape priorities and execution • Remove friction in processes, communication, and ways of working • Hire and grow strong engineering teams across France and the UK • Act as a thoughtful technical counterpart, able to challenge decisions and protect long term quality without being hands on
