Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience. • Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and commercial negotiations. • Experience procuring services, equipment, materials, or project-related spend. • Experience supporting supplier onboarding or supplier qualification processes. • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. • Experience purchasing construction and installation services, technology, infrastructure, or project-based services. • Experience supporting government, municipal, or public-sector customers. • Experience with MWBE, DBE, SBE, VBE, or other supplier diversity programs, including spend tracking and reporting. • Experience with supplier onboarding, vendor master management, or supplier qualification processes. • Experience with Oracle, ServiceNow, or similar procurement systems. • CPSM, CPPB, CPPO, or related procurement certification.
Responsibilities
• Procure goods and services required to support operational, project, and customer requirements. • Review purchase requisitions, obtain supplier quotations, evaluate pricing and lead times, and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies. • Manage purchasing activities across technology, project-related services, construction and installation services, equipment, and other operational categories. • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, cost, and service objectives. • Coordinate supplier onboarding activities, including supplier qualification, collection of required documentation, system setup, and collaboration with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders. • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers. • Monitor open purchase orders and proactively expedite deliveries to meet business and project requirements. • Resolve supplier performance, delivery, quality, invoicing, and service-related issues. • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and Finance to support ongoing business needs and project execution. • Support competitive sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and bid analysis. • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation. • Support procurement requirements associated with government and municipal customer contracts. • Support supplier diversity initiatives, including MWBE spend tracking, certification verification, and customer reporting requirements. • Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information within Oracle, ServiceNow, and related procurement systems. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
