Requirements
• 8+ years in sales & market expansion, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment. • Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication. Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of sales professionals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, Caribbean countries, as well as internationally across Europe, Asia Pacific/Middle East/Africa (excluding India), Africa, Latin America & North American Subcontinent • Develop strategies to drive growth and profitability for our products in the target markets by understanding market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, etc. • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different levels of management within these regions including regional managers, country heads, sales leaders, business partners, suppliers and customers to ensure alignment on goals and objectives for the region as well as individual territories/countries under their purview • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats (SWOT) in each market segment they are responsible for. This includes identifying new product development needs based on customer feedback and industry trends to ensure we stay ahead of the competition • Monitor sales performance against targets regularly through weekly/monthly reports; identify areas where additional support or intervention may be required, as well as recognizing top performers within their team. Provide regular coaching & mentorship for underperforming individuals and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure consistent high-quality output • Develop a sales pipeline strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of Whoop; identify new opportunities, nurture leads through various stages until they are ready to close deals. This includes setting up effective follow-up processes for cold calls and emails as well as managing customer relationships post-closing • Collaborate closely with marketing team members on developing targeted sales campaigns that align with our brand messaging; ensure consistent communication between the two teams, providing regular updates to senior management regarding progress towards goals. • Attend industry events and conferences regularly as a representative of Whoop in order to network within their respective markets, build relationships with potential customers/partners, learn about emerging trends & best practices that can be applied back at the office for continuous improvement. • """
