Requirements
• Strong experience building production systems (full-stack or backend-heavy) • Comfort working across web apps, APIs, and cloud infrastructure • Experience with Node.js, React, and AWS (or equivalent stacks) • Familiarity with Python / FastAPI for automation or data services (bonus) • A bias toward shipping over perfection • High tolerance for ambiguity and changing requirements • An ownership mindset — you treat the product like it’s yours
Responsibilities
• Design and implement the initial architecture powering bookings, payments, availability, and guest experience. • Own the Stack by building across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure — choosing tools and patterns that scale. • Automate the Business with event-driven workflows and intelligent automation from day one. • Integrate the Ecosystem through deep integrations with platforms such as Airbnb, Stripe, Hostaway, and Twilio. • Ship Relentlessly by deploying, monitoring, and iterating on production systems with speed, reliability, and pragmatism. • Solve Real-World Problems including real-time booking sync, pricing intelligence, keyless access logic, AI-powered alerts, and operational dashboards. • Set the Technical DNA by establishing engineering standards, best practices, and a culture of quality, ownership, and execution.
Benefits
