Requirements
• 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience, with strong exposure to E&S lines • Active P&C license in good standing • Proven ability to manage high volumes of inbound submissions and warm transfers • Hands-on experience rating, quoting, and placing business across multiple E&S and admitted carriers • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative, client-first approach • Self-starter with a track record of driving results in a fast paced, high growth environment • Highly organized with excellent time management skills • Comfortable learning and navigating new technology, carrier portals, and underwriting systems • Experience using CRM/AMS platforms and comparative rating tools • Experience in insurtech, an MGA, E&S underwriting, or a startup environment • Work Environment • Remote-first role, work from anywhere in the US • NYC office available for in-person collaboration • Working hours aligned to your time zone: • East Coast: 9:00am to 6:00pm ET • West Coast: 8:00am to 5:00pm PT • Warm inbound leads- no cold outreach • Clear growth path into Senior or Enterprise roles • Modern tools built specifically for insurance brokers • Fast-paced environment with real ownership and impact
Responsibilities
• Sell commercial insurance policies to businesses in various industries across North America. • Develop strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication via phone calls and meetings. • Conduct thorough research on potential new accounts by analyzing industry trends, risk factors, and client needs. • Negotiate policy terms that are favorable for both the insurance company and its customers to ensure long-term business growth. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of commercial lines products offered in different states within North America. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' concerns promptly, offering personalized solutions, and ensuring policy clarity. • Stay updated with changes to insurance regulations that may impact the sale or renewal process for businesses across various industries. • Collaborate closely with underwriters to assess risk factors associated with potential new accounts and ensure accurate pricing of policies. • Utilize digital marketing strategies, such as email campaigns and social media advertising, to attract prospective clients in the commercial insurance industry. • Attend networking events and conferences related to the insurance sector to expand professional connections and stay informed about emerging trends within the field.
