Responsibilities
• TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs, providing ongoing coaching and training to enhance their performance and skill sets. • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one performance reviews to foster continuous improvement. • Set clear team performance goals and monitor progress, ensuring BDRs follow effective sales processes and improve conversion rates. • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to align on and implement outbound strategies for high-quality lead generation and pipeline optimisation. • Ensure team members have the necessary tools and resources, communicating goals and addressing concerns. • Generate and analyse reports on team performance to identify areas for improvement and maintain a productive work environment. • Keep the team updated on industry best practices and evolving expectations. • INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION • Consistently meet and exceed individual performance targets for qualified opportunities and sourced pipeline, demonstrating a hands-on approach. • Employ creative strategies to engage and qualify prospects within targeted accounts, with a focus on identifying key decision-makers. • Craft personalised outreach strategies that effectively articulate Checkout.com’s value proposition. • Develop a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s offerings to communicate their value effectively to potential merchants. • Understand customers’ unique needs and challenges to tailor a bespoke approach. • Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics to refine prospecting techniques and drive meaningful conversations. • Maintain organised records of all outreach efforts to ensure a structured approach and enhance overall performance. • Utilise various sales tools and techniques to build and manage relationships with prospects. • Collaborate closely with the sales team, ensuring a seamless transition from prospecting to closing, while continuously enhancing personal knowledge and skills. • Proactively seek feedback and mentorship to accelerate professional growth and refine sales acumen.
