atomi - Financial Controller
Requirements
• CA or CPA qualification, with deep experience across financial control and operations, ideally in a SaaS startup, tech industry or high-growth business. • A track record you can speak to clearly: you're able to articulate the achievements and impact you've driven in past roles. • A genuine sense of responsibility for your team, and a real interest in coaching and developing the people who report to you. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable partnering with and influencing people across all parts of the business. • Exceptional analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to lead budget and forecasting cycles end-to-end. • An entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset that's comfortable with ambiguity, from BAU processes right through to larger strategic initiatives. • ## Working at Atomi • Tailored flexibility: Enjoy work-life balance with hours that adapt to your needs, whether for university, family or personal time • Generous leave: Experience additional paid leave options as a permanent team member • Location independence: Work from Sydney, interstate or wherever you find inspiration • Growth and development: Use ongoing opportunities to improve your skills and expand your knowledge • Holistic wellbeing: Benefit from a comprehensive employee assistance program subscription and additional wellbeing leave, supporting your best self • Parental support: Enjoy 14 weeks of paid leave for new parents, with additional leave specifically for birthing parents • Work with the best: We know you want to work alongside the best, so we work hard to hire only the best • Regular social in-person and remote events: Including team sports competitions, trivia nights and themed annual events • Atomi access: Enjoy free Atomi services for you and your family • Ironically for an education company, we’re not huge sticklers for qualifications. We’re more interested in how your skills and experience can contribute to our team. Make sure to include links to any relevant projects, like your portfolio, writing, GitHub, etc. - whatever helps us understand what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and why you’d be a great fit at Atomi. • We also know great people come from all kinds of backgrounds, so even if you don't meet all the requirements we've listed, you should still apply. • Please note: You'll need Australian working rights for this role.
