Exa - Software Engineer, Full Stack

• You're a strong generalist engineer, comfortable owning the product lifecycle from design to deploy • You're fluent in TypeScript, with a strong eye for front-end design, and comfortable learning new tools and technology as the work calls for it • You've designed and maintained backend APIs that real users and customers depend on • You've shipped products for LLMs, AI agents, or other systems used by many people • You care about the problem of finding high quality information and recognize how important this is for the world • What You Could Do • Build agentic onboarding flows that quickly get developers (and their agents) from sign-up to first integration • Shape the Exa API and SDKs into the cleanest, most ergonomic agentic search platform in the ecosystem • Architect the API gateway that every Exa request flows through • Build account, billing, permissions, and provisioning surfaces our enterprise customers need • This is an in-person opportunity in San Francisco.
