Requirements

• S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent technical background; MBA is a plus. • 4–6 years of sourcing or GSM experience, ideally in EV, energy, or high-voltage electronics industries. • Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, contract manufacturing dynamics, and commodity strategy. • Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms with suppliers and CMs. • Highly collaborative, data-driven, and proactive; capable of thriving in fast-paced startup environments. • Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as needed (10–25%). • In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below. Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for electronics, interconnects, and PCBA components. • Lead RFQ/RFP efforts, negotiate commercial terms, and establish MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements. • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure supplier readiness for NPI and mass production. • Monitor supplier performance and manage escalations in quality, cost, or delivery. • Work cross-functionally to ensure part readiness, VMI/buffer inventory, and cost optimization over lifecycle. • Analyze BOM cost structure and propose sourcing strategies to reduce landed cost and mitigate risk. • Support make-vs-buy, dual sourcing, and localization efforts across global supply chains. • Contribute to CM sourcing decisions, lead-time analysis, and manufacturing footprint strategies.

Benefits

• $112,500—$147,500 USD • The position is full-time.
