Requirements
• A seasoned regulatory attorney with 4+ years of experience in fintech, crypto, or institutional finance. • Proven experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional licensing processes. • An expert at distilling opaque regulatory guidance into clear, actionable business advice. • The base pay for this role is expected to be between $196,000 - $215,000 in New York City. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Responsibilities
• Execute the Licensing Roadmap: Directly manage and execute new license applications (VASP, MTL, and international equivalents) across all 2026 target jurisdictions. • Execute the Licensing Roadmap: • Product Compliance Ownership: Partner with Product and Engineering from ideation to launch, providing the regulatory guardrails for new asset classes and trading features. • Product Compliance Ownership: • Regulatory Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and reporting requirements, ensuring 100% standing with global oversight bodies. • Regulatory Liaison: • Landscape Analysis: Monitor global legislative shifts (MiCA, SEC/CFTC developments, etc.) and proactively translate them into technical and operational requirements for the platform. • Landscape Analysis:
