• BA/BS or higher in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, statistics or related discipline • 10+ years of SAS or SQL programming experience • Experience analyzing large administrative pharmacy and medical claims databases (public and private) • Experience with importing data, transforming, cleaning, merging, and editing data and extensive quality/accuracy measures • Working knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and/or econometric skills • Ability to independently manage multiple work streams with limited supervision • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical reasoning and decision-making skills and strong commitment to meeting goals and deadlines • Positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude, with excellent teamwork skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment • Comfortable working in a remote/hybrid environment with demonstrated ability to be productive and self-guided. • Healthcare policy and analysis background • Experience with analyzing healthcare survey data (e.g. Medical Expenditure Panel Survey and Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey) • Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) • Experience interpreting statistical output and analyses • What we can offer • You will receive a 401K plan with an employer match contribution up to 4% (immediately vested), as well as life insurance, disability coverage, and medical, dental, and vision plans for peace of mind.
