Requirements
• Attention to detail; • Intellectual curiosity to innovate on ways to solve data management issues; • Passion, energy, and excitement for progressive and philanthropic causes and all things digital. • Nice-to-have qualifications (depending on the role): • Python, Pandas, PySpark, SQL, R; • Familiarity with big data tools using AWS or other cloud services; • A passion for statistical methodology; • Experience with MLOps platforms like MLFlow, Sagemaker, and/or Google Cloud AI; • Experience in building data- and/or machine learning-based products; • A background in related industry sectors. • If hired on a full-time salaried basis then this position may be included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining. • We are currently working remotely with no return to office date. Responsibilities
• Developing innovative product solutions to meet market needs. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of products into the existing ecosystem. • Conducting user research and testing to gather insights on customer preferences and behaviors. • Analyzing data from various sources, including analytics tools and surveys, to inform product development decisions. • Writing technical documentation for internal use as well as external stakeholders (e.g., developers, clients). • Participating in regular team meetings and stand-ups to discuss project progress and address any issues or concerns. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the product's domain. • Contributing ideas for process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction. • Managing a portfolio of projects from conception through delivery while ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. • Communicating effectively with team members across different departments (e.g., marketing, sales) to align on project goals and strategies. • Providing technical support for product development activities as needed by other engineers or designers in the organization.
