Beauhurst - Research Manager (Public Sector)
Responsibilities
• Project management: Overseeing multiple research projects at once - managing timelines, coordinating workloads and ensuring everything stays on track. • Project management: • Building relationships: Maintaining regular contact with clients to keep projects moving, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring we meet (and exceed!) expectations. • Building relationships: • Research & data analysis: Using a combination of our platform’s extensive data and your own market research to collect, interpret and analyse data for your projects. • Research & data analysis: • Content creation & editing: Helping to write, refine and shape written reports to make sure they’re clear, accurate and beautifully presented. • Content creation & editing: • People management: Overseeing the development of direct reports, helping them deliver high-quality content and supporting them to work independently and confidently. • People management: • We’re looking for a Research Manager with at least 3 years relevant experience, who’s confident in managing projects, guiding people and ensuring outputs are top-quality. • Ideally, you’ll be: • A natural people person: You find it easy to get on with all sorts of people and like the idea of working collaboratively across teams and with clients. • A natural people person: • Proactive and organised: You hold yourself to high standards, are confident in managing multiple projects at once and find excitement in improving how things are done. • Proactive and organised: • Analytical: You like working with data and can take meaning from the numbers. A proven track record of using either R, python, SPSS, Tableau and QGIS is desirable. • Analytical: • Especially important for this role: • Public sector knowledge: You have a deep understanding of how the public sector works and you already regularly keep up to date on the latest UK policy developments.
