Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in data engineering, BIM/CAD data operations, or a related field • Experience with Point Cloud Annotation and 3D data labeling • Point Cloud Annotation • Strong AutoCAD proficiency — this is the primary technical requirement • MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) knowledge • BIM and construction industry background • Some leadership or project management experience — you've owned a process or team before • Preferred • Experience at companies like AECOM, Bentley Systems, Jacobs, or WSP • Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines and human-in-the-loop validation workflows • Comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment

Responsibilities

• Own the file submission and QC process for annotated construction data (CAD, BIM, MEP) • Review and validate outputs from junior annotators; enforce quality standards • Perform AutoCAD annotation and data labeling as needed (hands-on, not just oversight) • Collaborate with the CV/ML engineering team to close the gap between AI outputs (currently 80–90% accuracy) and production-ready data • Manage and mentor a team of data annotators; drive process improvements • Coordinate with engineering leads before any major workflow or tooling decisions
