Mercury - Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile
Responsibilities
• Lead an experienced engineering team of 13, consisting of both Android & iOS engineers, including one backend engineer. The team has been building apps for over a decade and have a strong passion for their craft. • Mentor, retain, and provide feedback to high-performing engineers of all skill levels. You'll contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and calculated risk-taking. • Work closely with engineering leaders, designers, product leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Including selling ideas across teams, influencing product roadmaps, and creating structured approaches that elevate mobile without creating unnecessary overhead for other engineering teams. • Serve as the connective tissue between mobile and the broader engineering organization, translating mobile constraints and opportunities into language that resonates with backend, web, and infrastructure teams.
