DevOps Engineer IV (Obs)

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 8+ years of professional DevOps / Infrastructure management experience, with 5+ years in AWS. • 8+ years • 5+ years in AWS • Strong foundation in operating systems, networking, distributed systems, and systems architecture. • Proven track record of leading critical DevOps projects. • Hands-on expertise with AWS services, orchestration (ECS, EKS), and infrastructure management. • Proficiency with observability concepts (logs, metrics, tracing) • Experience with SaaS observability platforms (eg Datadog, NewRelic, Honeycomb, Dynatrace…) and building in-house solutions (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana stack…) • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash). • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. • Broad exposure to cloud-hosted applications, virtualization platforms, relational/non-relational databases, reverse proxies, and orchestration platforms. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Demonstrated curiosity, continuous learning, and drive to raise the technical bar. • Prior experience as a senior developer or application architect. • Experience in cloud cost optimization and exposure to FinOps concepts (cost allocation, unit economics…) • Experience working in compliance-regulated environments (PCI DSS, ISO 27000, HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR). • Key Characteristics & Attitudes • We hire for attitude as much as skill.
