Responsibilities
• Build and maintain high-available, scalable large-scale databases and search platforms using technologies like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch. • Design and implement data integration and migration pipelines to ingest data from various sources including APIs, files, and/0 other databases. • Improve platform availability and performance through the use of SRE practices. • Conduct incident management, which includes troubleshooting, resolution, and post-mortem analysis for database and search platforms. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers as a subject matter expert in database and search platform engineering. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including projects, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment of the platform's usability with organizational goals.
