E Source - Databricks Platform Engineer

• Design, build, and operate a scalable Databricks platform supporting data, analytics, and ML workloads • Own Databricks environments end to end, including workspaces, clusters, Unity Catalog, permissions, and AWS integrations • Automate infrastructure and platform configuration using Infrastructure as Code • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable data and ML delivery • Embed security, governance, and observability into the platform by default • Optimize platform performance and cost through monitoring and proactive tuning • Enable self-service through reusable tools, templates, and best practices • Partner with engineers and data scientists to continuously improve the platform experience • You’re likely a great fit if you: • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused engineering roles • Strong hands-on experience administering Databricks, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, and Unity Catalog • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, with AWS experience preferred • Proven experience automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or similar • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data, application, or ML workflows • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments • Strong grasp of security, IAM, networking, and platform governance best practices • Experience supporting data engineering, analytics, and machine learning teams • Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and data functions • Ownership mindset with a bias toward automation, reliability, and continuous improvement • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
