clickhouse - Sr. Frontend Software Engineer - SysAdmin & Internal Ops Platform
Requirements
• Experience: 6+ years in full-stack software engineering, specifically building back-office tooling, admin consoles, or internal developer platforms. • Core Stack: Strong TypeScript/Node.js and React for dense, data-heavy UIs. Experience or willingness to write Go for CLI tooling is a major plus. • Safety & Auth Infrastructure: Deep understanding of internal authorization, staff access policies, rate-limiting, and audit trail design. • Integration Expertise: Comfortable connecting external APIs, managing authentication contracts, handling rate limits, and ensuring data freshness. • Ideal Backgrounds: Internal tools, trust & safety, fintech ops platforms, or developer productivity teams at cloud platforms (e.g., Stripe Ops, Shopify, Atlassian, Datadog, Cloudflare).
Responsibilities
• Architect and scale the internal SysAdmin console, admin APIs, and Go-based CLI plugins used across the company. • Enforce safety mechanisms on high-impact actions: fine-grained permissions, staff SSO enforcement, scoped service tokens, guardrails, and immutable audit logging. • Build unified integrations across third-party platforms (Salesforce, Pylon, billing platforms, feature flags) to surface holistic customer state in one pane. • Partner directly with internal stakeholders (Support, SREs, Sales Ops) to eliminate operational toil and streamline crisis response workflows.
