Requirements
• ● Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and a current Australian or UK practising certificate. • ● 6+ years PQE at a reputable law firm and/or in-house at a global corporation. • ● Strong understanding of corporate and contracts law. • ● Must be a self starter with high energy and a proven ability to roll up your sleeves to • get things done. You thrive on taking initiative. • ● You are a team player with a humble attitude and a hunger to make an impact in a • role where the sky's the limit. • ● Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to interact effectively and • collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business, along with external • ● You are passionate about technology and SaaS businesses with a passion for • innovation and emerging digital technology. • ● Comfortable hitting the ground running in fast paced scale-up environments. • ● Experience working with AI technologies to increase efficiency in legal operations. • ● Excellent written and oral communication skills. • ● Comfortable with working across time zones. • ● Spanish speaking skills and/or Spanish legal qualification would be a bonus!
Responsibilities
• ● Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements with • partners, suppliers, and customers. • ● Providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice to various departments and • stakeholders in the UK and EMEA (partnerships and reseller team, HR, sales etc) on • a broad range of matters. • ● Advising on, and managing, commercial and contractual disputes in the UK, EMEA • and AMERS (depending on business needs). • ● Advising on, and managing, SiteMinder’s real property interests in the UK, EMEA • ● Monitoring regulatory developments in the UK, EMEA and AMERS and providing • clear, actionable advice to the business. • ● Providing company secretarial support in various jurisdictions (including UK, EMEA • and AMERS, depending on business needs).
