Responsibilities

• You're taking the wheel of a working business. In practice, it comes down to three things: • Own the P&L and the outcomes. Every project, from client intake to successful placement. You'll track progress, manage expectations, ensure quality, and step in when needed. You use analytics to drive financials and operational excellence. And you're never settled - constantly auditing and improving how we work. • Lead the team and community. Manage recruiting partners directly - set the pace, drive accountability, run briefings and kick-offs. Coordinate domain experts: onboard new ones, keep them engaged, and make sure their involvement on projects is smooth and well-timed. And keep our small lovely community alive and engaging. • Push us further on AI. Some of us are AI agents. Everyone on our team works with Claude Code every day and all our processes are AI-native. We are actively building and evolving our Second Brain so that all context is accessible and usable for AI. We've already built a lot of supporting structures, but you'll get a rare amount of ownership and accountability on top of them. • And you'll directly contribute to a mission we care about: help AI companies build exceptional product and design teams, and help great professionals find jobs that make them happy. • Your comp: base salary (depending on experience and location) + performance bonus (% of agency revenue), with room to grow as performance scales. • Remote, full-time with real flexibility, and the warmest offsites a few times a year. • A smooth 1-2 month onboarding with Mariam - she'll hand over context, relationships, and processes. • A stream of exciting, challenging, meaningful projects - helping find top talent for great companies. • All our network, experience, playbooks, tools, and the collective intelligence of the community behind you. • WE'RE LOOKING FOR A WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING WHO: • Has real experience in hiring - maybe as a Talent Partner, Recruitment Lead, or a Hiring Manager. And thinks about recruitment as creating lasting professional relationships, not just “filling roles” • Has managed people directly and knows how to create a warm, supportive culture while demanding strong performance. • Deeply understands great product teams: their structure, culture, and hiring needs. Our clients, candidates, and experts are all world-class product professionals, and you need to speak their language. • Actively uses AI in everything they do and is comfortable solving problems with agents and code. • Communicates excellently in English and Russian, with experience working with both English-speaking and Russian-speaking clients and teams. • Feels comfortable working in European timezones: most of us work in GMT to GMT+4. • Thinks like an owner - doesn't tolerate inefficiency, and balances data with a human touch. • Has high agency and doesn't need to be “prompted”. • Nice to have: first-hand experience in a service business - agency, consultancy, freelance, or similar. • WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YOUR FIRST 12 MONTHS • Grow revenue while holding or improving current margins. • Scale the team from 2 to 3-4 recruiting partners without losing the culture. • Deliver successful placements across our range of clients. • Ship at least one meaningful operational leap - a new Second Brain capability, a new service line, or a pricing/model experiment. • We apologize in advance if we can't reply to everyone - but if your application resonates with us, we'll definitely get back to you. • Can't wait to meet you! 🙌
