LayerZero Labs - Site Reliability Engineer

• Build, monitor, and maintain blockchain node infrastructure for a variety of DLTs, ensuring reliability and performance. • Collaborate with product and platform engineers to proactively address reliability, scalability, and observability. • Develop scalable infrastructure using code, with a focus on Kubernetes Helm charts. • Automate incident detection, triage, and resolution processes. • Participate in the on-call rotation for systems owned by the team. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. • 4+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role. • Deep familiarity with blockchain node infrastructure (e.g., running validator/full/archive nodes, RPC optimization, etc.). • Strong proficiency in Typescript or Golang development—with ability to build tools, services, or automation. • Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux internals and systems administration. • Strong background in distributed system design and high availability architecture. • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, including Helm chart authoring. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. • The base salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year up to $200,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. LayerZero is a total compensation company.
