Requirements
• 6+ years of professional web engineering experience, with expert-level knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and modern web architecture (React experience is a plus). • Experienced in architecting large-scale frontend systems, including SSR/ISR, caching strategies, advanced state management, and performance tuning. • Able to turn ambiguous product and UX requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions. • Comfortable using modern developer tools, including AI-assisted workflows like Claude Code, to improve productivity and code quality. • Hands-on with modern frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), with a strong understanding of building reliable, maintainable test suites.
Responsibilities
• Own the design, development, and optimisation of high-impact web applications using Angular, Next.js, and TypeScript. • Build and maintain robust frontend systems, reusable component libraries, and shared patterns that scale across multiple teams. • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define technical direction and deliver seamless end-to-end experiences. • Ensure top-notch performance, reliability, security, and test quality across critical user flows—from trading execution to portfolio management. • Mentor engineers, elevate frontend standards across the organisation, and contribute to long-term technical strategy and architecture.
