Requirements
• Strong coding skills in Python or NodeJS for high-availability Search and Knowledge graph Platform development • Experience designing and operating data systems and pipelines at scale • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL • Experience with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD platforms (e.g., CircleCI)- Proven experience designing and evolving external-facing Search and Knowledge graph Platforms, including versioning, pagination, and deprecation strategies • Experience with ElasticSearch, ETL/Search and Knowledge graph Platform design, healthcare data domains, or customer-facing data delivery systems is a plus • Not meeting all the requirements but still feel like you’d be a great fit? Responsibilities
• As a Sr. Product Engineer on the Search and Insights Engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and evolving the H1 Knowledge Graph and Search platform. You will own the technical direction of our customer-facing platform — driving architecture decisions, defining standards, and leading critical business features impacting the product and users. • Own the full lifecycle of platform features design and development — from problem definition and schema modeling through implementation, versioned rollout, and deprecation planning • Lead Search and Knowledge graph Platform evolution efforts to reduce redundancy, optimize payload size, and improve usability. • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and well-scoped Jira tickets, while remaining hands-on in the codebase • Own and evolve data pipelines and transformation workflows that support Search and Knowledge graph Platform. • Define and implement scalable integration patterns (Search and Knowledge graph Platforms) to support internal and external data exchange • Drive system performance and scalability improvements as data volume and product complexity grow • Lead troubleshooting of complex system and data issues, establishing best practices across reliability, observability, testing, and data quality- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with governance and regulatory standards • Mentor engineers and elevate technical standards across the team • Leverage AI-first development practices (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to improve speed and quality of engineering output
