Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant software development experience, Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years of experience. • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance. • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, CloudWatch, S3, and IAM. • Experience developing and supporting API-driven integration architectures. • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps deployment practices. • Experience using monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, or similar tools. • Understanding of secure coding practices and cloud security standards. • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and serverless architectures. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Active VA Public Trust clearance. • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator. • Experience supporting federal government programs or regulated environments. • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and cloud-to-cloud data exchange. • Experience supporting systems handling sensitive or regulated data. • Experience working within Agile software development teams. • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks including NIST, FISMA, or FedRAMP. • How We’ll Support You: • Keeping people satisfied is no small undertaking. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions supporting enterprise integration workflows. • Build and support API-driven integrations between Salesforce and VA enterprise systems. • Design, implement, and maintain data transformation and mapping logic for downstream applications. • Troubleshoot and remediate production issues related to Lambda execution and integration processing. • Monitor CloudWatch logs, metrics, and alerts to identify and resolve operational issues. • Implement resilient processing patterns, retry mechanisms, and error handling workflows. • Support AWS Step Functions orchestration for complex business processes. • Perform root cause analysis and support resolution of production incidents. • Collaborate with development, operations, and DevOps teams to support releases and production stability. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint-based delivery activities. • Follow secure coding practices and support compliance with federal security requirements. • Contribute to documentation, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
