Sagent - Assistant General Counsel Principal
Requirements
• 10 years legal experience with preferably 5 years negotiating technology related contracts • U.S. law degree (J.D.) required. Actively licensed to practice in at least one state. • Experience drafting, negotiating, summarizing, and closing technology transactions. • A desire to be part of a fast-paced team with high level legal needs. • Experience with intellectual property in SaaS environment. • Experience with cloud computing contracting. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work with business and product groups providing legal support. • Experience in analysis and translation of business/technology system architectures, databases, and client applications into contracting framework. • As a Sagent Associate, you will be eligible to participate in our benefit programs beginning on Day #1! Responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement efficient contracting process to support multiple loan servicing platforms. • Creatively strategize renewals and support the modernization of legacy contracts. • Work in close collaboration with product management, customer success and sales to provide best-in-class legal service. • Support optimization of legal process. • Keep current on product offerings and translate them into SaaS, MSA SOW’s and similar contracting models.
