Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field. • Substantial professional experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or engineering analysis. • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering materials, and manufacturing processes. • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Siemens NX. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design requirements. • Experience performing engineering calculations and validating design decisions. • Strong analytical skills and attention to technical detail. • Ability to document engineering workflows and explain technical decisions clearly. • Strong written English communication skills. • A Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. • Experience with FEA, CFD, or other engineering simulation tools. • Familiarity with GD&T, manufacturing tolerances, and industry standards. • Experience with CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or industrial automation. • Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or engineering workflow automation. • Previous experience reviewing AI-generated technical outputs or developing engineering assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic mechanical engineering tasks based on product development, manufacturing, and industrial engineering workflows. • Create and review 2D technical drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering specifications. • Develop tasks involving mechanical design, materials selection, tolerance analysis, and component optimization. • Prepare and validate engineering calculations, including stress, strain, forces, thermal behavior, and mechanical performance. • Work with simulation outputs such as finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or manufacturing simulations. • Identify design inconsistencies, incorrect assumptions, manufacturing constraints, and potential engineering failures. • Create reference solutions with traceable calculations, technical explanations, and clearly justified assumptions. • Review AI-generated engineering outputs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements. • Collaborate with technical contributors to establish reproducible tasks and objective evaluation criteria.
