Requirements
• At least six years of total experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production-level code (Python is preferred / Java / C++ / Go) • Experience in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure • Expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL • Experience driving medium to large projects from inception to completion • Great written and verbal communication skills. We work with people across time zones and diverse backgrounds, so you need to be able to communicate both effectively and inclusively. • Experience working on data pipelines and an understanding of the relevant nonfunctional requirements • Who will love this job: • At least seven years of total professional engineering experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production-level back-end code (Python preferred / Java / C++ / Go) as well as front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular or VueJS). • A track record of driving cross-team technical initiatives end-to-end, including authoring TDDs (or equivalent design proposals) that built consensus across multiple stakeholders. • Experience functioning as Tech Lead (or de facto Tech Lead) on a project that spanned more than one team. • Demonstrated influence on technical decisions adopted by teams outside your own. • Experience in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure. • Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Excellent written and verbal communication.
