Responsibilities
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on building and shipping full-stack applications • Former founder or early engineer at a startup (0–50 employees): you've built products from the ground up, navigated ambiguity, and owned outcomes in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment • Deep technical skill set: proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript), experience with web frameworks (React, Node.js), and strong SQL skills • Understanding of how AI and automation can be applied to business workflows: experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation tools is a strong plus • Experience working closely with non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Customer Success) to translate business needs into technical requirements and ship impactful solutions • Product mindset: you care about user experience, business impact, and building systems that people love to use, not just technical elegance • Demonstrated ability to move quickly from prototype to production, make effective tradeoffs, and ship incrementally • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to business stakeholders and executive leadership • Experience with GTM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, workflow automation tools like Workato or n8n) or modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt) is a plus • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact • What you can expect as a Vanta’n: • Industry-competitive salary and equity • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans • 16 weeks fully-paid Parental Leave for all new parents • Health & wellness stipend • Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend • Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office
