Requirements

• You are an experienced analytics leader who thinks about data in terms of decisions, systems, and repeatable frameworks. You've spent your career helping business leaders ask sharper questions of their data, translating complex analysis into clarity and action, and building the reporting foundations that enable partners to diagnose, explore, and decide on their own. You develop analysts who do both well. You bring structure where there's ambiguity and know how to turn analytical insights into recommendations that move the business. • Our BI function at Justworks has transitioned from a distributed, embedded model to a centralized, strategic function, and we continue to evolve toward a more broadly self-service, AI-enabled future. That transformation is the core of this role: building out self-service intelligence products, shaping the craft of analytics, coaching analysts along a career path from skilled practitioner to strategic partner, and holding the line on rigor while encouraging faster, simpler answers where appropriate. • As Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, you'll lead a dedicated team of analysts within our broader BI organization, serving as a strategic thought partner to senior functional leaders across Justworks. You will own the full cycle of analytical work: framing the right questions, developing rigorous analyses, validating findings and delivering outputs that functional leaders can trust and act on. • Your Success Profile • In addition, all Justworkers focus on aligning their behaviors to our core values known as COGIS. It stands for: • Camaraderie - Day to day you can be seen working together toward a higher purpose. You like to have fun. You’re an active listener, treat people respectfully, and have a strong desire to know and help others. • Camaraderie • Openness - Your default is to be open. You're willing to share information, understand other perspectives, and consider new possibilities. You’re curious, ask open questions, and are receptive to thoughts and feedback from others. • Openness • Grit - You demonstrate grit by having the courage to commit and persevere. You’re committed, earnest, and dive in to get the job done well with a positive attitude. • Integrity - Simply put, do what you say and say what you'll do. You’re honest and forthright, have a strong moral compass, and strive to match your words with your actions while leading by example. • Integrity • Simplicity - Be like Einstein: “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.” • Simplicity • 7+ years of hands-on analytics experience, including hypothesis-driven analysis, business case development, and strategic recommendations • 4+ years of people management, including direct responsibility for developing senior-level individual contributors • Strong SQL proficiency and experience working in modern BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Looker or similar) • Working knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (e.g. Python / R). • Comfort with predictive modeling techniques is a plus. • Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing VP-level and above stakeholders to frame problems, present findings, and shape decisions • Track record of participating in or leading an analytics transformation: moving a function from reactive service delivery toward proactive, strategic insight generation • Experience in a complex B2B SaaS environment strongly preferred; comfort with GTM, revenue, customer health, and product domains a big plus • Familiarity with data modeling concepts, metric governance, and how analytical work connects to underlying data infrastructure • Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate or enhance analytical workflows, with strong judgment applied to validation and accuracy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling analytical narratives for diverse audiences • The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $166,000.00 - $214,000.00 per year. • #LI-DG2 #LI-Hybrid • Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. • For more information about Justworks’ Total Reward Philosophy, including all of the perks and benefits we are proud to offer our team members, please visit Total Rewards @ Justworks. • Diversity At Justworks • Justworks is committed to maintaining a workplace where diversity of identity, culture, and life experience is the norm and is celebrated authentically and respected consistently. We depend on our differences to make our team stronger, our workplace more dynamic, and our product accessible to all of our customers.
