• Act as the primary HR Business Partner for North America, supporting leaders across both Toronto and US-based teams • Own and manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations, performance issues, terminations, and risk mitigation • Provide expert guidance on US and Canadian employment law, ensuring compliance and best practices across the region • Partner with leaders to drive performance management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness • Support and execute organizational changes, including restructures, workforce planning, and team design • Coach managers on people-related matters, including performance, development, and team dynamics • Strengthen and scale People Operations processes, ensuring consistency and a positive employee experience • Partner with Finance and leadership on headcount planning, workforce insights, and resource allocation • Collaborate with global HR counterparts across EMEA and APAC to align on processes and initiatives • Support and guide more junior team members or coordinators as needed across HR operations
