Requirements
• A masters degree in any area of machine learning; or equivalent experience • Relevant academic or industrial research experience • The scientific curiosity and tenacity required to solve hard research problems. • Strong communications and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment • We’d like to see • Peer reviewed publications in any area of machine learning • Experience in Speech systems research and engineering. • Ability to maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team atmosphere • The ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
Responsibilities
• Conduct research to support the development of new products and services within ASAPP's portfolio. • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and sales, to align R&D efforts with business objectives. • Prepare reports summarizing research findings and presenting them in a clear and concise manner suitable for stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Attend industry conferences and networking events to stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to ASAPP's business areas. • Participate in brainstorming sessions with colleagues to generate creative ideas for new product concepts or enhancements to existing offerings. • Monitor competitors’ activities through market research reports, social media listening tools, and other sources of information to identify potential threats and opportunities within the industry landscape. • Contribute insights from customer interactions with ASAPP's products during regular team meetings or one-on-one discussions as needed by management. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about relevant technologies, tools, methodologies, and best practices in research engineering to ensure the effectiveness of R&D processes at ASAPP.
