Requirements
• 10+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other product managers, with a track record of delivering finance or enterprise infrastructure products at scale. • Deep knowledge of financial operations including accounting pipelines, financial reporting, treasury management, and reconciliation workflows. • Computer Science degree or hands-on software engineering experience, with the ability to engage meaningfully with engineers on system architecture and technical trade-offs. • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders (CFO, CAO, VP-level Product and Engineering leaders) and align cross-functional teams toward a common vision. • Familiarity with crypto asset types, on-chain transaction flows, and how they intersect with traditional financial record-keeping. • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. • Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Responsibilities
• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for finance transformation and process automation, AI-driven insights, and system improvements, ensuring tight alignment with Finance leadership priorities and company-wide objectives • Manage and mentor PMs, setting the bar for product craft, stakeholder management, and technical depth across the team • Lead cross-functional execution of complex, high-impact initiatives including: reconciliation tooling, SOX-compliant change management for the financial reporting pipeline, new product finance onboarding, and self-serve tools for Accounting and Treasury • Act as the subject matter expert on Coinbase's finance operations by deeply understanding accounting, crypto & fiat reconciliation, and treasury workflows and identifying the highest-leverage opportunities for automation and tooling • Partner directly with senior leaders in finance, product and engineering to prioritize and manage a portfolio of high-priority initiatives, communicating clearly on progress, risks, and timelines • Define the future-state finance technology landscape and ensure the roadmap is grounded in technical reality • Represent the finance user in all tech implementations, design and execute change management and training programs that drive real adoption across finance teams • Conduct competitive and data analyses to guide decision-making and become an expert in financial and crypto products • What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): To be completed by all business teams except Eng. • What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): • To be completed by all business teams except Eng. • 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other product managers • Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality • Computer Science degree or Software Engineering experience • Deep knowledge of financial products, including financial record keeping, accounting pipelines and financial reporting • Experience building robust, scalable solutions for accounting, treasury management, and financial operations • Demonstrated success leading business-critical systems in a fast-paced environment • Ability to influence a range of senior stakeholders including CFO/ CAO, Accounting, Product & Engineering towards a common vision • Curiosity and enthusiasm for crypto and Web3
