Fabric - Senior Product Designer

• Lead design for our kids investment account product, geared towards helping parents invest for their children while they’re still minors • Own the end-to-end user experience from research and prototyping to final design hand-off • Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve product engagement and retention • Be an advocate for the customer—get to know our users through user testing and interviews, and know how to balance velocity without sacrificing user experience or design principles • Identify problems and opportunities and develop hypotheses to test, learn, and iterate • To be successful in this role, you’ll need: • 6+ years of experience as a key member of a design team with experience in 1-to-n improvements, specifically around engagement and retention • Well-honed user-centered design skills—you are detail-oriented and have a deep understanding of design fundamentals and are fluent in Figma • A strong understanding of usability, interaction design, visual design, front-end development, and mobile-first UX/UI • Ability to understand and articulate the strategic impact of your design vision to stakeholders, and influence multi-disciplinary teams and partners across the organization • Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality • You’re a self starter and a critical thinker, able to break down complex problems into manageable tasks to deliver holistic design solutions • Portfolio or samples of responsive web product design work informed by quantitative and qualitative user research • A background in fintech or related industries is a plus • The base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $132,000-170,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
