• At least Eight (8) years of experience and strong proficiency with any programming language; strong TypeScript/React proficiency preferred
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and practical UI engineering (performance, state management, component architecture)
• Experience building complex, data-dense product surfaces (dashboards, analytics UIs, trading-like workflows, or similarly high-stakes UX)
• Ability to work with stakeholders to develop product ideas, design the implementation, and deliver end-to-end
• High degree of self-motivation and willingness to jump into unfamiliar areas to solve problems
• Bonus:
• Experience building trading, fintech, or other high-availability, low-latency product experiences
• Experience designing AI assistant/copilot UX (tool calls, confirmations, citations/grounding, failure handling)
• Deep experience with trading across asset classes, margin types, etc.
• Experience with real-time streaming UI patterns and performance optimization under high update rates
• Experience with any parts of our stack beyond frontend (Rust services, Postgres)
• We Offer:The Base Salary Range for this role is $200,000 - $350,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
