Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management • 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical procurement (energy, deep tech, hardware or startup environments preferred) • Experience with procurement/ERPsystems (Ramp, Coupa, SAP, or similar) • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques. • Experience managing at least one or more of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, optical components, or capital equipment • Strong negotiation and contract management experience • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance tactical rigor and strategic priorities • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders • Willingness to travel to supplier sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the full procurement lifecycle, from purchase request intake through PO issuance, delivery tracking, and incoming quality validation • Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers. Lead RFX processes and negotiate pricing,lead times, and contractual terms • Build and implement scalable procurement systems, including PO management, order tracking, and documentation workflows • Develop and refine supplier selection frameworks across cost, lead time, quality, technical capability, and compliance • Ensure all purchase items meet industry standards and applicable safety regulations • Produce and maintain detailed procurement documentation • Lead and actively participate in team meetings providing purchase order statuses and support • Collaborate closely with Finance on PO approvals, supplier payments, and spend tracking

Benefits

• The base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000; The pay range provided is an estimated base range for this role.
