Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent experience • 6+ years of progressive experience in global procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years dedicated to Indirect Procurement (specifically Construction, Tool Installation, or Facilities Services) • Proven track record of leading complex contract negotiations with tier-1 general contractors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) trade partners, and facilities service providers. • Strong analytical skills to evaluate proposals & develop recommendations • Experience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, should-cost modeling, and advanced Excel data analysis. • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment • Ability to make quick decisions with 80% information • WHERE YOU'LL WORK: • This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Responsibilities
• Develop, execute, and continuously refine a holistic global category strategy for Construction, Tool Installation, and Facilities Services that aligns with overall business objectives. • Analyze global market trends, industry benchmarks, and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities, innovation, and risk-mitigation vectors. • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned categories, guiding internal business partners on market dynamics and best practices. • Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including drafting and executing complex Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). • Structure, negotiate, and execute high-value Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and construction-specific contracts (e.g., Design-Build, Time & Materials, Fixed Price). • Partner closely with Legal and Risk Management to ensure contract terms protect the company's intellectual property, minimize liability, and guarantee regulatory compliance. • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to rigorously monitor supplier performance. • Lead regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with critical suppliers to drive continuous improvement, resolve escalations, and foster innovation. • Develop supplier risk-mitigation frameworks to ensure business continuity across global sites. • Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders in Facilities, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance to deeply understand and predict demand. • Align sourcing strategies with project timelines to guarantee that tool installations and construction milestones are met without supply-chain-induced delays.
