Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, Software Development, or related roles. • Strong professional experience with Python and Django in production environments. • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework. • Experience working in media & entertainment, streaming platforms, or digital supply chain ecosystems is highly preferred • Strong understanding of web application architecture and backend development best practices. • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar. • Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborative software development practices. • Understanding of full-stack applications, including exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend/backend integrations. • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a distributed environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker. • Experience working in cloud-native or SaaS product environments. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience in client-facing or consulting environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python and Django. • Build and support robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework. • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following engineering best practices. • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and quality. • Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to technical decisions and backend strategy. • Optimize application performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments. • Work across the application stack, collaborating on integrations involving frontend technologies and databases. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows, coding standards, and engineering practices.
