Requirements
• 4+ years product management experience with SaaS companies. • Clear written and verbal communicator who provides straightforward, self-contained updates with necessary context in our distributed, asynchronous environment. • Technical background strong enough to understand how our tools are used by developers. • Strong opinions, weakly held—someone who pushes back on ideas to drive better outcomes, handles critique without defensiveness, and demonstrates a growth mindset. • Evidence-driven mindset—uses customer feedback and our analytics instrumentation to make informed product decisions. • Accountability—experience leading the end-to-end process for a feature from conception to release. • WE’D BE EXTRA EXCITED IF YOU… • Were previously a front-end software engineer. • Have experience working in the developer tooling space. • Have a keen interest in UI, design and the front-end ecosystem. • Have worked effectively in a distributed, remote-first team environment. • We understand that even the best candidates might not meet all the above qualifications on day one. Responsibilities
• Own the vision for end-to-end business objectives that span multiple engineering teams. • Synthesize your ideas, our business goals, customer feedback, product analytics and insights gleaned from the marketing/sales teams into feature specifications. • Work closely with the engineering and marketing teams to ensure we ship world class software that matters to our existing and future customers. • Manage analytics instrumentation across our products and use it to make data driven product decisions.
