ClearScore Technology Limited - Site Reliability Engineer
Requirements
• Automating in a Linux environment (e.g. BASH, PYTHON) • Operating distributed systems with complex failure modes • Deploying & operating infrastructure in AWS or a similar public cloud • Building & running containerised production workloads (e.g. Kubernetes, Hashicorp Nomad, Docker Swarm) • Developing software in a compiled language (e.g. Python, Golang) • Working with security best practises • Implementing Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment workflows (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Concourse, ArgoCD) • Working with logging aggregators (e.g. Elasticsearch, Loki) • Working with monitoring platforms (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB, Datadog) • Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and optimising Kafka for high availability and performance. Bonus points for Confluent experience. • Capable of balancing technical tradeoffs against each other to find solutions that serve their team and company well
Responsibilities
• You will work with a range of technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Python, Go, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD and Kafka, and will be supported to learn how these are used in practice across the business. • You will be encouraged to use AI tooling, taking a pragmatic approach that improves efficiency while ensuring changes remain thoughtful, reviewable and maintainable. • You will be expected to contribute to operational support, take ownership of investigating and resolving routine issues and build an understanding of how your work affects other teams and the wider business. • For more information on our tech stack check out our 2026 Tech Radar , how we work is summarised in our Engineering Principles and we have many other Tech Blogs on Medium.
