Roebling - Senior Process Engineer
Requirements
• Roebling’s Sr. Process Engineer will report to the SVP of Process Engineering & Implementation and work closely with other members of the team across the business. • BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years minimum (10+ preferred) relevant process engineering and process modeling experience • Strong expertise in developing process models, including heat and material balances, equipment sizing, and process flow definition • Solid understanding of core process engineering unit operations and industrial process design principles • Demonstrated experience with early-stage project development (FEL), technoeconomic analysis, and cost estimation • Deep familiarity with process modeling methodologies and process simulation software (e.g., AspenPlus, Aspen HYSYS, PRO II, DWSIM, APS, or similar), • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders from the shop floor to the C-suite
Responsibilities
• Design and maintain modeling assets, including reusable unit operation blocks, equipment sizing and specification calcs, databanks, templates, and reference models • Define and maintain modeling standards, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure consistency, flexibility, and technical rigor • Create clear documentation, training materials, and use-case examples that support and enable effective deployment of the software • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify modeling requirements, address pain points, and drive continuous improvement • Provide structured feedback to product and software teams on usability, workflows, and feature priorities based on real-world modeling needs • Develop process models to support Roebling implementations for client engagements
