Requirements
• SOME OF THE THINGS YOU'LL DO: • Help us re-architect calling and standardize how we work with calling providers. • Build new dashboards and tooling, and reliability work that gives us deeper observability into calling performance. • Ship new features and delighters such as URL unfurling, custom transcript summaries, group messaging, direct messages and new calling features. • Own projects from end to end, with support from senior engineers, and take on more ownership as you get familiar with the platform. • Enhance existing features, fix bugs and improve documentation across calling, messaging, voicemail and transcription. • Write your own tests and ship safely through our delivery pipelines. • TECHNICAL STACK AND TOOLS: • Our frontend is a Single Page Application built with React and TypeScript, using GraphQL to talk to our backend • We develop in a monorepo powered by pnpm and Turborepo • We use Storybook for component-driven development • Components are implemented with Vanilla Extract for styles, React Aria, and our existing Design System components • We write tests using Vitest and Playwright, and ship through CI/CD pipelines • Real-time messaging and calling use WebSockets and WebRTC • Other tools: Figma, Heap, Linear, Notion, Datadog and Slack • Experience with real-time messaging technologies such as WebSockets and WebRTC • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a mature delivery process • Experience building with agentic AI workflows (for example, breaking tickets down, generating features, and testing and verifying the output)

• The annual base salary range for this position is as follow, plus equity and benefits: • SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Boston, New York, and Washington, DC Metro: $170,000 - $200,000 USD • All other US Locations: $153,000 - $180,000 USD • Canada: $156,000 - $183,000 CAD • The ranges displayed reflect the target for new hire salaries, and within each range, individual pay is determined by your skills and experience, as well as relevant education. Your recruiter can share more and answer questions about the specific salary range during the hiring process. • Salary is just one component of Quo’s total compensation package.
