Certa - Frontend Engineer - Internship
Requirements
• JS/TS fundamentals: A solid grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals: closures, async, and the event loop. • JS/TS fundamentals: • React: Working knowledge of React: hooks, state management, and component lifecycle. • React: • Real project experience: You've shipped something real to the web (even if small) and gone beyond tutorials: thoughtful state management (what lives where and why), API integration with loading/error/auth handling, forms with client- and server-aware validation, multi-page routing (nested and protected routes, query params), or working with a component library or design system. • Debugging & performance: You can look at a broken UI and fix it without being told where to start, and you've used browser DevTools to spot and fix a slow render. • Debugging & performance: • Quality & UX: You care about accessibility, responsiveness, and edge cases, not just happy paths, and you have opinions about UX that you're not afraid to voice. • Quality & UX: • AI-assisted building: You use AI tools (Copilot, v0, or similar) to build faster, and know when a suggestion is right and when it's subtly wrong. • AI-assisted building: • Internship Details & What You Get • Duration: A paid 6-month internship, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role at the end based on performance. • Duration: • Compensation: Competitive compensation, benchmarked above market for fresher roles.
Responsibilities
